FinProp VIP Program(Scaling Plan)

FinProp’s VIP program is a unique scaling plan which is specially made for experienced traders who are consistently profitable. The VIP Program is an invitation-only program, in which FinProp recognizes traders who have demonstrated skill and discipline. This criteria include:

A minimum of 6 months of profitable trading
No loss of a funded account in the past 6 months
Earned at least 30% in payouts with a minimum of 8 withdrawals, each withdrawal not exceeding 30% of total payouts
A stable, non-aggressive trading strategy

Custom Capital Allocation up to $500,000

Scaling Plan for Profit Split

FinProp offers a unique 123 performance fee scaling system. Here’s how it works:

Initial Profit Share: Traders start with an 80% profit share.
Scaling Up: After each successful withdrawal with a 4% profit, the profit share increases by 5%, moving up to a maximum of 90%.
Fee Refund: After the first payout, traders who have purchased standard accounts will also receive a 123% refund of the fees.

News Trading Rules:

FinProp allows traders to trade during news but traders are not allowed to open positions within 5 minutes before major news announcements and must close them within 5 minutes post-announcement. There will be a 10 minute window which is the restricted news trading period and trading in this 10 minutes window rule can lead to account breach.

Other Important Rules

Daily Drawdown Calculation:

FinProp calculates daily drawdown based on equity based drawdown, this means the drawdown amount can increase or decrease at any moment of time if there is any open trades. This ensures that traders will have to make proper risk management and traders will be less prone towards any high risk trade.

Gambling Rules:

FinProp discourages high-risk, all-or-nothing strategies. Consistently relying on one large trade to meet targets may lead to account termination as well. If unusual trading patterns arise, traders may be required to provide an explanation.

Prohibited Trading Strategies:

FinProp restricts the following trading practices to maintain fairness:

Exploiting price glitches (e.g., latency trading, front-running)
High-frequency trading
Hedging
Hedging across multiple accounts
Account sharing or third-party management
Abusive techniques like order layering

Violations of these rules may lead to profit deductions or account termination.

Trading Commissions

FinProp charges a commission of $3 per lot across all instruments, maintaining a simple, straightforward and transparent commission structure.

IP Rule

FinProp allow traders to trade with multiple IP Address but if FinProp detects unusual IP activity, they can request for proof of travel or conduct a video-call verification to ensure the account’s security. Notifying FinProp before travelling to a far place or relocating to somewhere else is advised.
