Cookie Policy
Last updated:
This policy covers cookies and similar browser technologies on thetrustedprop.com, operated by S and A Marketing FZ-LLC. Use Manage Cookies to accept, reject, or change optional purposes without creating an account.
1. Cookies and browser storage
Cookies are small values stored by your browser. Local storage, session storage, scripts, and similar technologies can also remember settings or measure interactions. Some are needed for a requested feature; others are optional. A service can process technical data even if it does not set a cookie.
2. Required features
Sign-in and security services use cookies or storage for authentication, abuse prevention, and requested account functions. We also remember your cookie choices and settings you request, such as theme, language, and community-rule acceptance. These controls do not switch off authentication, necessary security logs, or operational error reporting.
You can clear or block storage in your browser, but doing so may sign you out, reset settings, or prevent features from working. Community posting acceptance is separate from optional tracking consent.
3. Optional purposes and providers
- Analytics: Google Analytics, together with our own interaction and visit measurements, helps us understand use of research and community features. Google advertising signals and ad personalisation are disabled in our tag configuration.
- Referral measurement: our referral cookie and related measurements remember a referring member and measure referral traffic and attribution. This does not authorise selling your information or sharing it for third-party advertising.
- Live support: Tawk.to loads the optional support widget and may handle device information and chat transcripts. Email support remains available if you decline.
Optional purposes stay off until you choose them. Accept all enables every listed optional purpose; Reject optional leaves them off. Continuing to browse is not consent. Where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, referral measurement stays off.
4. Storage used by the website
- ttp_cookie_consent_v2: local browser record of your selected purposes, version, and choice time. We ask again after 180 days or a consent-version change. Browser storage may keep the expired record until your next visit or until you clear it.
- ttp_aff: referral code cookie, set only with referral-measurement consent, expiring after 30 days or removed when you withdraw that choice.
- ttp:visit:v1:* and ttp:mevent:v1:*: session-storage markers used with analytics consent to reduce duplicate measurements; removed when that choice is withdrawn.
- Authentication and selected settings: provider cookies and feature storage whose lifetime depends on the session or setting. For example, social_terms_accepted remembers posting-rule acceptance for seven days; theme and forum acceptance can remain until cleared.
- Provider storage: Google Analytics may use _ga and related cookies; Tawk.to may use its own cookies or storage when enabled. Names and lifetimes can vary with provider and browser settings.
This describes the purposes and storage identifiable in our website implementation; external providers may change their technical identifiers. The controls apply to future optional loading and collection, rather than deleting information already lawfully received by a provider.
5. Change or withdraw a choice
Visit Manage Cookies from the footer at any time. The banner and settings page use the same choices. Withdrawing an enabled purpose refreshes the page to stop scripts already running. We remove the first-party optional cookies and measurement markers we can access; you may need your browser's controls to remove third-party or inaccessible cookies.
Choices apply to this browser, not automatically to another device or the app. Clearing browser storage prompts a fresh choice. If storage is blocked, your selection can apply to the current page session, but we cannot remember it for a later visit. General Do Not Track signals are not used as an additional settings mechanism.
6. External websites and media
Merchants, linked websites, and external media providers control their own cookies and processing. Our settings cannot control a separate website after you visit it. See the Privacy Policy for broader data handling and contact us with questions about a service or identifier.
7. Contact and updates
We update this policy as website technologies and purposes change and request fresh consent when required.
