BrightFunded allows news trading during both phases of the challenge but restricts it on funded accounts during major news releases. You are not allowed to open or close positions within a 10-minute window around significant news events.

How Is Daily Drawdown Calculated?

Daily drawdown is calculated based on your account balance at the start of the day. You cannot lose more than 5% of your balance within a single trading day, and the drawdown resets at the end of each trading day.
