Spreads

News Trading Rules

News trading is fully allowed, but traders should be aware that spreads tend to widen during high-volatility events. Other Important Rules

Daily Drawdown Calculation

Daily Drawdown is calculated based on equity or balance whichever is higher at the end of the day and it will keep updating at the end of the day. Daily drawdown updates everyday at 17:00 EST. Due to the nature of Equity based drawdown, Traders must understand that their drawdown limit will keep changing based on the PnL of their equity or balance and can grow or shrink.

Breakout Prop is unable to provide its services to traders from or in the following countries:

Afghanistan, Belarus, Burma, Central African Republic, Cuba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Nicaragua, North Korea, Russia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, Vietnam, Yemen, Zimbabwe, and parts of Ukraine (Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk).

Gambling Rules:

Trading strategies that exploit pricing errors, latency, or use non-public information are strictly prohibited.
Strategies that involve high-risk maneuvers that would be difficult to replicate in a live market setting, like arbitrage or front-running, are banned.

Utilizing insider or non-public information
Front-running trades or market manipulations
Copying trading signals or ideas from third-party sources
Sharing accounts or trading multiple accounts from the same IP

Payout Methods

Breakout Prop currently supports crypto payouts in USDC (ERC20). Payouts are processed daily, provided the trader meets the withdrawal requirements.

Trading Commissions

Trading crypto on Breakout Prop incurs a fee of $3.50 per side per $10,000 traded. This works out to $7 per round trip, including both opening and closing trades. Additionally, there's a swap fee of 0.09% per open position per day, deducted at 00:00 UTC.
