Scaling Plan

Origin FX’s scaling plan is designed to reward consistent traders with increased capital and additional perks. The plan consists of four stages:

Stage 1: Pro Trader

• Requirements:
  • Hold a funded account for 60 trading days.
  • Maintain a minimum of $100,000 funding.
  • Successfully complete four withdrawals.
  • No failed/breached accounts in the last three months.
  • Achieve 16% total withdrawal profit.
• Reward:
  • 90% profit split.
  • Refund of the challenge fee.
  • +$50,000 funding.

Stage 2: Advanced Pro Trader

• Requirements:
  • Hold Stage 1 for 60 trading days.
  • No failed/breached accounts in the last six months.
  • Maintain a minimum Darwinex score of 75.
  • Achieve 16% total withdrawal profit.
• Reward:
  • Triple the initial capital allocation.
  • Access to QuantifyFx institutional services.

Stage 3: Expert Pro Trader

• Requirements:
  • Hold Stage 2 for 80 trading days.
  • No failed/breached accounts in the last nine months.
  • Risk or loss must not exceed 3% on any single day.
  • Maintain a Darwinex score of 75.
  • Achieve 28% total withdrawal profit.
• Reward:
  • Six times the initial capital allocation.

Stage 4: Full-Time Trader

• Requirements:

Spreads and Trading Commissions

Spreads

Origin FX offers REAL spreads directly sourced from liquidity providers. This ensures transparency, accurate execution and a trading environment that mirrors the market. There will also be no artificial spreads or slippage, which will provide fairness and precision in every trade.

Trading Commissions

Trading Commissions charged by Origin FX is as follows :-

• Forex: $3 per lot roundtrip.
• Indices: $3 per lot roundtrip.
• Metals: $3 per lot roundtrip.
• Oil: $3 per lot roundtrip.

News Trading Rules

Origin FX does not allow traders to trade during news in both evaluation and funded phases. Traders are not allowed to open or close any position 10 minutes before or after major news events. Trades that are placed outside this window can remain open if stop-loss and take-profit orders are in place and holding a trade throughout the news event is also allowed. Not complying with this rule will be deemed as soft breach and traders will be given 2 warnings as well as soft breach and third time breach will lead to account termination.

Daily Drawdown Calculation

Origin FX calculates daily drawdown based on equity or balance whichever is higher at the end of the each day at midnight server time. This drawdown works based on equity based drawdown which means the drawdown limit will keep changing based on the PnL of the account each day.

Prohibited Trading Strategies

Origin FX does not allow traders to use these strategies to maintain fairness on their platform :-

• High-frequency trading (manual or automated).
• Arbitrage trading (Latency or reverse)
• Hedging between different accounts
• Copy Trading
• Using Account Management Services
• Account Passing Services
• Tick scalping
• Martingale strategies (Not allowed in 2-Phase Evaluation only)
• Hedging (Not allowed in 2-Phase Evaluation only)
• Scalping
• one-sided betting

IP Rule

Origin FX does not allow traders to use multiple accounts or multiple traders trading from different accounts from the same IP Address. Traders using the same IP address must declare and seek approval from Origin FX beforehand. Not complying to this rule can lead to account suspension.
