Question 1

What is Maven Trading and how does it work?

Accepted Answer

Maven Trading is a prop firm that gives traders access to funded accounts and if traders pass one of their challenges 1-Step, 2-Step, 3-Step, or Instant and if they meet their rules and targets, they give them a real-money account to trade with. Traders keep a portion of the profits, starting from 80%.

Question 2

What’s the difference between the 1-Step, 2-Step, and 3-Step challenges?

Accepted Answer

The 1-Step challenge is the quickest hit one profit target and you are done. The 2-Step challenge splits it into two phases (8% and 5%), while the 3-Step makes it even easier by breaking it into three small targets of 3% each. The more steps, the lower the pressure but also a bit more time and patience needed.

Question 3

Is there a time limit to finish the challenges?

Accepted Answer

Nope! That is the best part. Maven Trading does not force deadlines. You can trade at your own pace, whether it takes 5 days or 50. As long as you don’t break any drawdown rules, you’re good.

Question 4

How much profit do I keep once I’m funded?

Accepted Answer

Once funded, you start with an 80% profit split, which is pretty generous. Some accounts or add-ons might allow you to boost it even higher. So if you make $1,000 profit, you take home $800.

Question 5

What’s the drawdown rule I need to follow?

Accepted Answer

They use both daily and overall drawdown limits. For example, if your daily drawdown is 3%, that means you can’t lose more than 3% in a single day. Some challenges have trailing drawdowns (it moves as your balance grows), while others are static. Always double-check the rules based on the challenge you choose.
