Be very careful before buying accounts…

Be very careful before buying accounts with Topstep. The company advertises the possibility of reaching up to $750,000 in allocation by purchasing multiple accounts. This creates the impression that traders can build and manage several funded accounts independently and grow their capital over time. In my case, I had 3 Funded Express accounts with a total profit of around $46,000. According to the platform rules, in order to request a payout you must complete at least 5 trading days with a minimum of $150 profit per day. I had already completed 4 trading days with more than $200 profit per day and I was working on completing the fifth day in order to request my payout. However, just before I could complete the process and request the payout, my account was automatically transferred to a Live Account. When you are moved to a Live Account, three important things happen that many traders do not fully understand at the beginning: • All Funded Express accounts are permanently closed • Only 20% of the total balance is transferred to the Live account • The remaining 80% becomes a locked “Reserve Balance” This means that most of the profits you accumulated are not immediately available. The most important part is this: if the Live account loses that initial 20% and the balance drops below zero, the account is closed and you also lose the entire Reserve Balance. In other words, if you lose the 20% in the Live account, you also lose the remaining 80% of the profits you had previously accumulated. So even if you built profits across multiple Express accounts while following the payout rules, once you are moved to the Live account everything is consolidated into a single account with a much higher level of risk. My advice to other traders is to read all the rules very carefully and fully understand what happens when you are transferred to a Live Account, because the situation can be very different from what many traders expect when purchasing multiple accounts. This would hae been the best choice fr me ,i have been here for some time now,it hs e been going well with a straight forward rules,and good trading conditions both challenge and their funded stage,@Bennypass passed the challenge forme ,he ison telegram,i want to give this company the overall best but platform outages do happen during volatile news events, which can be frustrating mid-trade. But when they occur, the team does review and adjust accounts fairly.

They cancel my data lvl 2 many times…

They have canceled my Data Level 2 many times, sometimes just a day or two after I paid for it, and they don’t want to refund the money or even fix the issue... one time, I received a reply after a few weeks saying it was too late and I could buy a new one and they close the ticket. Also, the last time I got an answer that they never canceled it. However, I even received an email about the cancellation. They had said they would give me information about why it was canceled but then after restored it just change topic and stopped replying. Additionally, the platform doesn’t work properly – it keeps freezing constantly. I can’t set SL and TP sometimes, or platform close positions at price levels that don’t exist on the chart and DOM. Even when I sent them videos of the problem multiple times they just say they are not able to rebalance or refund anything and then close the ticket.

60+ SYSTEM ERRORS - Supervisor Kain THREATENED me for reporting bugs!

Avoid this platform! I documented over 60 system errors and provided timestamped screenshots. Instead of fixing the platform, Supervisor Kain sent me a threatening email warning me to stay silent or face account termination. This is a complete scam and total denial of service. I have already filed a formal complaint with the BBB.

Amazing Customer Service

Customer service was amazing. I was able to get a reply to my messages in about an hour, which compared to other customer services is pretty good. I would love to give a shoutout to the agent that I was connected with. I've had gripes with Topstep from time…

I've had gripes with Topstep from time to time, but truth is, overall all in all, it is a great company, great platform (projectx) and they have great staff. I was frustrated with an issue, but it was resolved to some degree by a supervisor Kain. There is a reason of why Topstep has been a longstanding company and leader in the prop firm space, and you can trust that they will pay you out when you earn it. No funny business unlike some other companies *cough cough* APEX *cough cough*

Topstep has been doing great from the day I have known about them. I have been trading with Topstep for more than 2 years now. They have a pretty smooth Payout process, though it is a little time taking process compared to other platform however, the support team at Topstep works with full integrity and they genuinely try to help customers. There have been few technical issues and outages but that is expected when you setup and try to scale a new platform and new setups usually take their time to stablize... I absolutely love their daily Live sessions on YouTube. I have not seen any transparent Prop Firm in last 15 years other than Topstep. Kudos to you for all the good work you are doing for traders.

9 days of frustration

9 days of frustration: System liquidated TWO accounts while I was OFFLINE with $0.00 ghost trades. I am writing this because I don’t know what else to do. I’ve been waiting for 9 days for a solution and I feel completely ignored. My accounts were liquidated due to a technical failure on TopstepX that happened while I was COMPLETELY OFFLINE. My computer was turned off and I wasn't even at my desk. This happened twice in one day: first to my Funded Account in the morning, and then to my Back to Funded account at night. When I checked my logs, I found dozens of "Ghost Trades" that I never executed. Most of these trades show exactly $0.00 Profit/Loss, which makes no sense for any human trader. It was clearly a server-side loop. I have 26 screenshots of these logs as proof. However, support keeps asking me for a screen recording of the event. It is impossible to record a video of a computer that is turned off! I have worked so hard to get these accounts, and losing them to a system glitch while I wasn't even there is heartbreaking. I am out of options and I just want a fair review of my logs and my accounts restored.

Credits where credits due

Credits where credits due, they are still the gold standard when it comes to futures prop firms. Never had an issue and they pay you out. Rules are very easy. Already got multiple payouts with them and it was very smooth

Platform is terrible

Their platform is terrible. Weekly outages, random restrictions on tradeable assets. TopstepTV hosts criticize trades then do exactly what they criticize others for. Sad to see the fall so fast.
