Question 1

What differentiates Nostro from other prop firms?

Accepted Answer

Nostro gives traders absolute freedom, no deadlines, profit splits up to 100% based on consistency, and rules that are sensible. There are also three challenge types (1 step, 2 steps, and 3 steps) and you get to choose what works best for you. Their leverage remains consistent at 1:100, there is no pushy upselling, their support is quick to respond, and their policies friendly. It is a firm that feels built for traders, not against them.

Question 2

After passing the challenge, when can I begin trading?

Accepted Answer

You’ll get your funded account within 24 to 72 business hours after you complete your KYC and sign the contract. The steps are simple: head to your dashboard, complete identity verification, and e-sign the contract. Then simply wait for the access that is promised and provided. The instructions are precise and step-by-step without spammy emails, and there is no unnecessary waiting behind invisible doors. Everything is seamless.

Question 3

Are there any time restrictions for the challenges?

Accepted Answer

No, they do not exist. All Nostro challenges are unlimited time. Whether it takes you 7 days or 70, there is no pressure to rush trades just to meet a deadline. This is particularly good for swing traders, part-timers, or anyone who would rather wait a long time to coincide with dire market conditions.

Question 4

How is the Consistency Score calculated and how does it affect my payout?

Accepted Answer

Your trading activity consistency has a major impact on your split, not only the absolute highest day. Profit split is calculated based on the following:
(1 - (Your Best Day Profit ÷ Total Absolute Profit)) × 100
You can expect these results based on your score:
0-49% → 40% profit share
50-69% → 60% profit share
70-89% → 80% profit share
90-100% → Full 100% profit share

Payout is bigger the more consistent trading activities are because the payout model is based on consistency. It incentivizes discipline rather than rewarding random lucky surges.

Question 5

What are some important rules to follow while trading with Nostro?

Accepted Answer

While there are several trading rules to follow, the more important ones include:
Limit the risk to 2% of your account balance per symbol trades
Every trade must have a stop-loss to remain compliant
News trading is restricted only in covered accounts (within 2 minutes pre/post major news in funded accounts)
No copy trading, group trading, or PAMM style management is allowed.
Must have a minimum of 5 trading days per phase.
Cumulative maximum capital for all accounts is $100,000.
Soft breach system applies: 3 strikes and you’re out.

Question 6

Do I get a refund for my challenge fee?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you do, but only if your account fee is above $30. The account fee will be refunded after the user’s 3rd funded payout. Users with fees less than $30 will instead of a cash refund get a retry challenge of the same size for free. It’s a fair system that still gives you value no matter how small your account size is.
