Question 1

Is Funding Traders legit or a scam?

Accepted Answer

Funding Traders has been around since 2018, based in the UK. They’ve paid out over £2 million to traders, according to their own numbers. Trader reviews on Trustpilot and other forums are mixed, leaning positive but with real complaints about rule clarity and payout delays. No major shutdown signs yet. Still, you should always check the latest payout proof and read recent trader reviews before buying a challenge.

Question 2

What are the rules for Funding Traders evaluation?

Accepted Answer

Two phases: Phase 1 (10% profit target, 8% max drawdown) and Phase 2 (8% profit target, same drawdown). No time limit. Consistency rule applies: no single day can account for more than 30% of total profit. News trading is banned during major announcements. You can use EAs, but they check for high-frequency or grid strategies.

Question 3

How does Funding Traders payout work?

Accepted Answer

You request a payout after your first 14 days funded. Minimum payout is $100. They pay via bank transfer (UK), crypto (USDT), or Wise. Processing takes 2–5 business days. Some traders report delays beyond that. Read the firm’s current payout policy on their site before you start.

Question 4

Can you trade news on Funding Traders?

Accepted Answer

Funding Traders fully allows news trading in challenge phase while in funded stage news trading is allowed but it comes with time and profit restrictions. No more than 30% of profits can be earned from the trades during high-impact news events. If this threshold is exceeded than the payout processing will be delayed until additional trades reduce percentage below limit. A trade is considered news trade if it is opened, held, or closed within a 10-minute window (5 mins before and after the news release).

Question 5

Does Funding Traders allow EAs (expert advisors)?

Accepted Answer

Yes, they allow automated trading. But they reserve the right to review any EA. They ban HFT, grid strategies, martingale, and anything that exploits latency or broker feeds. If your EA trades during news or breaks the consistency rule, you get flagged. Best to keep your EA simple and transparent.

Question 6

How to pass the Funding Traders challenge faster?

Accepted Answer

Since there’s no time limit, speed isn’t the point. Most traders who pass do it in 4–6 weeks. Focus on hitting the 10% target without hitting drawdown. Use small positions, avoid news, and keep daily profit under 30% of total. That consistency rule catches people who have one big green day.
