What’s the biggest psychological or risk management mistake you see most new prop traders making that causes them to fail the challenge phase, even when their strategy is profitable on a demo?
The biggest mistake is definitely trying to pass the challenge in just one or two days by risking way too much lot size on a single trade. Newbies get super impatient cuz they see real funding close by, so they abandon there proven demo risk and blow the daily loss limit on a tiny pullback. They just can't handle the emotional pressure of trading for a real company and start revenge trading like crazy
