Let me preface this by saying I have been with Halcyon for a minute and I have traded with other firms. I have also received a payout for trading not a promo or anything so I am not just talking from the sidelines. Alright, enough qualifying. On to it. Halcyon, in a word, is awesome. Their customer support says 24 to 48 hours. I have never waited more than 4 hours and that includes weekends when they are supposed to be off. That alone should tell you something. I have been given resets for free. They have even reset failed accounts when I realized later I could have done it cheaper. That is not normal. They actually look out for their traders. Steve’s whole thing is building traders. Period. Yeah it is a business and blown accounts do not exactly hurt but I have watched him make change after change that he did not even agree with because traders wanted it. We are not close like that, I have just been around long enough and paid attention. That is the difference here. You have a CEO willing to go against his own preferences to support the people using the platform. There is an option here for anyone trying to figure this out. And my first payout. Only one through them so far and I promptly blew that account up after getting paid. Just being honest. I was trading something that had zero chance of working long term. Anyone with a brain could see it. They still paid me. No games. No excuses. Money hit in under 24 hours. All in all, this is where you want to be.

Been trading with Halcyon since last year. Out of all the firms I have tried, this is the one I have stuck with. Their rules are simple (almost non existent compared to other firms). Their customer service is top notch. Payouts? Never an issue! This trade this morning actually put me over to top to claim another just today. So many other firms I see people sweat when it’s time for a payout. Never an issue here. I know exactly what to expect and have always received exactly what I was expecting, and in a lightning fast manner. This is the one I always recommend to friends and family. Easiest platform to trade IMO (I can usually explain sign up to first trade in about 5 minutes for someone unfamiliar with props). They have earned my trust. I am an active member in their Discord community (ForgetTheSun). Give them a try and you’ll learn what I found out long ago - this is the one!

I’ve had a really solid experience with Halcyon so far. The biggest thing that stands out is how fast and reliable their payouts are. Once you hit your target and follow the rules, the process is straightforward and they don’t drag their feet, which is honestly one of the biggest concerns with prop firms. They’ve also improved their payout timing, which is a big plus. It used to be around 10 days, and now it’s been reduced to about 8. Compared to a lot of other prop firms out there, that’s already ahead of the curve. If they continue tightening that timeline, it would put them in an even stronger position. Customer service has been consistently responsive as well. Anytime I had a question, I was able to get a clear answer without waiting forever or getting generic responses. That kind of reliability matters when you’re actively trading. The evaluation and the funded account payout structure feels fair. The rules are clear, and as long as you manage risk properly, it’s very doable. There’s no sense of hidden traps or unrealistic conditions. If I had to critique anything, it would be the dashboard. It works, but it could definitely be cleaner and more intuitive. At times it feels a bit clunky when trying to quickly track progress, stats. A more modern layout with better visual breakdowns would go a long way. Overall, Halcyon has been reliable where it matters most: payouts, transparency, and support. With some improvements to the dashboard and continued progress on payout speed, they could easily become one of the top-tier prop firms out there.
