Let me be straight with you. There are a lot of prop firms out there. Most of them look the same. Same challenge models, same profit split promises, same slick landing pages. So when a firm like AtmosFunded shows up claiming to be "broker-backed" with a regulated broker behind it, it's worth taking a closer look.
I dug through their entire setup. All the pricing, all the rules, every single Trustpilot review (over 300 of them), the TTP ratings, the drawdown mechanics, the payout process the whole picture. Here's what I found.
AtmosFunded launched in 2024. The legal name is Taurex Digital, registration number 1178603, based in Dubai UAE. The CEO is Nick Cooke. The broker behind it is Taurex. That "broker-backed" part is not just marketing fluff it means trades route through an actual regulated broker, not some mystery server setup.
This matters. A lot of prop firms use random white-label tech stacks where you have no idea who's executing your trades. AtmosFunded doesn't have that problem. You're trading on MetaTrader (MT4/MT5), connected to Taurex infrastructure. The spreads are raw, often near 0.0 pips on majors depending on market conditions. Commissions are straightforward, no hidden markup games.
The firm has been operating since 2024, so it's still relatively new. But in that time it's gathered 297 Trustpilot reviews with a 4.0 average, and 9 TTP reviews with a 9.1 average. Not bad for a firm that hasn't been around long.
AtmosFunded offers four distinct challenge models as of 2026. Most firms give you two. Atmos gives you four: 1-Step Standard, 2-Step Standard, 1-Step Plus, and Instant Funding Standard. Each one targets a different trader style.
This is the fast track. Single phase, 10% profit target, 3% daily drawdown, 6% max drawdown (trailing). Minimum 3 trading days, unlimited max days. You hit the target, you're funded. Simple.
Pricing runs from $43 for a $5K account up to $749 for a $200K account with the TRUSTED coupon applied. Full prices are $63 to $1,020.
Two phases. Phase 1: 10% target, 5% daily drawdown, 10% max drawdown (static). Phase 2: 5% target, same drawdown rules. Static drawdown means your limit doesn't move with your equity it stays put. That's actually easier to manage than trailing for most traders.
Pricing: $59 for $5K up to $889 for $200K with the coupon. Full prices $63 to $989.
This one is new. Lower targets, tighter drawdown. 6% profit target, 3% max drawdown (trailing). No daily drawdown limit listed separately. Consistency rule applies, meaning you can't have one giant day making all your profit.
Available from $37 for $10K up to $175 for $150K. This is Atmos's cheapest path to funding.
No profit target. No minimum trading days. You pay, you trade. Drawdown is 5% trailing with a 3% daily limit. Consistency rule applies. This is for traders who don't want to pass an evaluation.
Pricing: $75 for $5K up to $649 for $100K.
Here's something not enough people talk about. AtmosFunded uses a static daily drawdown model with a reset at 5 PM EST every day. That daily reset gives you a fresh risk ceiling to work with. If you lose 2% on Monday, you don't carry that into Tuesday. Your daily drawdown starts over.
This is genuinely trader-friendly. Most firms either trail your daily loss or use a rolling calculation that eats into your margin. The reset system gives you room to recover.
The drawdown type varies by challenge. 1-Step uses trailing drawdown on the max loss (6%). 2-Step uses static on both daily and max (5% daily, 10% max). 1-Step Plus uses trailing (3%). Instant Funding uses trailing (5%).
Leverage is asset-specific. Forex gets up to 1:30. Metals and indices get 1:10. Oil gets 1:5. That's not crazy high leverage, but it's realistic. You're not going to blow an account on 1:500 leverage here, which is probably a good thing.
AtmosFunded advertises up to 90% profit split. That's competitive. Most firms cap at 80%.
Payouts run every 14 days. Minimum payout is $100. You can request via crypto (fastest), bank wire transfer (slower), or direct transfer to a Taurex live account. That last option is interesting transfer to Taurex and they add a 10% bonus on top. If you plan to trade long-term on a live account, that's free capital.
Crypto payouts are the speed demon here. Bank wire takes longer due to banking delays. The process itself is straightforward: log into your dashboard, submit the request, choose your method, wait 2 to 5 business days.
Now, here's what I need to be honest about. The payout process has attracted complaints. Several Trustpilot reviews mention denied payouts or accounts being breached at the payout stage. I'll get into that in the Trader Sentiment section below, but it's worth noting upfront.
The rulebook at AtmosFunded is fairly standard for a prop firm, but there are a few specifics worth noting.
Allowed:
News trading during all challenge phases
EA trading (automated strategies)
Scalping, swing trading, intraday
Overnight and weekend holding
Copy trading on personal accounts in certain plans
Not Allowed:
News trading in the funded phase (2 minutes before and after high-impact events)
Hedging across multiple accounts
Copy trading or account sharing
HFT, tick scalping, latency arbitrage
Martingale, grid trading, aggressive averaging
Strategy switching without approval
The news trading rule is interesting. During the challenge, you can trade news. Once funded, you can't. The logic is that challenges are meant to test skill, and news trading is a skill. But funded accounts need protection from wild volatility swings. Fair enough.
The consistency requirement on the 1-Step Plus and Instant Funding accounts is also worth noting. If you make all your profit in one big trade, Atmos may flag it. They want to see consistent performance, not one lucky hit.
AtmosFunded covers the basics and then some. Forex pairs (major, minor, exotic) with tight institutional spreads. Metals like gold and silver. Indices including S&P 500, NASDAQ, DAX. Commodities like crude oil and natural gas.
No crypto or stocks listed in the current instrument set. That might matter if you trade those. But for forex, metals, indices, and commodities, you're covered.
One area where AtmosFunded genuinely stands out is payment options. They accept credit/debit cards, crypto, Google Pay, Apple Pay, UPI (India), PIX, Boleto, OXXO (LATAM), GrabPay (Southeast Asia), and local payment methods region-based.
That's a lot of coverage. If you're in India, Brazil, Mexico, or Southeast Asia, you can pay without jumping through hoops. Crypto is available for both deposits and withdrawals.
Refund policy is standard for the industry rare. Once you pay the challenge fee, it's final. They say the charge gives you access to their trading platform and test tools. They'll look at special cases, but don't count on a refund.
AtmosFunded blocks accounts from these countries:
USA, Canada, UAE, Belgium, North Korea, South Korea, Russia, Iran, Iraq, American Samoa, Belarus, Japan, Northern Mariana Islands, Palestine, Puerto Rico, Ukraine, Virgin Islands (US), Wallis, Futuna Islands, Yemen, Zimbabwe.
That's a long list. If you're in any of those, you can't open an evaluation or funded account. The UAE restriction is ironic since the firm is based there, but it's likely a compliance issue with local regulations.
This is where things get real. I read through every single Trustpilot review available all 297 of them, broken down by star rating. Here's what traders are actually saying.
The five-star reviews paint a consistent picture. Payouts are fast when they go through. Multiple traders report receiving payouts within 24 to 48 hours. Support is responsive. The rules are clear. The community on Discord is active and helpful.
One trader, Ryan Gibbons, wrote: "I was testing your system step by step to see how legit you are, so far I have to say, all seems to be on the up and up."
Another trader, Imtiaz Ali, who received a second payout, said: "Both transactions were completed without issues. The platform has been reliable, transparent, and easy to use."
Multiple traders reported receiving multiple payouts 3, 5, even 6 payouts from the same firm. That's a good sign. If a firm is actively denying payouts, you don't see that many positive payout reviews.
The one-star reviews tell a different story, and this needs to be taken seriously. There are consistent complaints about:
Hidden rules. Several traders claim that rules about the 1% risk protection limit per symbol per day were not clearly disclosed upfront. One trader, Dreamjung Thawornvisutsakul, made $3,000 profit on a $50K Nova account and was denied payout due to this rule. The rule was apparently in the FAQ but not prominently displayed on the challenge page.
Payout denials at the final stage. Multiple traders report passing the challenge, trading profitably, then being denied at the payout stage for alleged rule violations. One trader, Derrick Osaze, paid £2,870 in fees, had payouts approved previously, then was permanently excluded from the platform with no specific rule breach identified. The firm confirmed in writing it was a "risk-based decision" rather than a rule breach. That's concerning.
Spread manipulation claims. A few traders allege that spreads widen artificially when they're close to drawdown limits. One trader on XAUUSD reported abnormal candlestick patterns that stopped them out beyond their stop loss. AtmosFunded denies this, stating spreads come directly from liquidity providers.
Support inconsistency. Some traders praise the support as excellent. Others claim support moderators give incorrect information about account types and rules. One trader caught support staff providing wrong information multiple times.
The split between positive and negative reviews is stark. The firm is clearly paying traders and has a functional payout system. But there's a pattern in the negative reviews that can't be ignored: rules being enforced at payout stage that traders claim weren't clear upfront.
AtmosFunded's defense is consistent. They state all rules are available on their website and FAQ. They claim decisions are based on documented evidence. They offer account restarts as second chances.
The question is whether the rules are actually clear enough before purchase. If a trader has to dig through the FAQ to find the 1% per-symbol risk limit, that's not the same as having it on the challenge page. I'm not saying AtmosFunded is running a scam. I'm saying their rule disclosure could be better.
On The Trusted Prop, AtmosFunded has an average rating of 9.1 out of 10 from 9 reviews. The TTP score is 8.5. The star breakdown shows all 9 reviews are either 4 or 5 stars, with zero 1-3 star reviews on TTP.
The TTP reviews mention smooth setup, good trading conditions, and professional support. One reviewer, Samantha Paige, said "Didn't feel like going through a challenge again, so I tried Atmos Instant Funding. Smooth setup, good conditions, and I was trading in no time."
Another reviewer, Abe Radina, noted "I like that it's broker-backed feels way more secure than most prop firms out there."
The TTP customer care rating averages 5.0 across all reviews. Withdrawal ratings are not yet populated for most reviews, which is normal for a younger platform.
AtmosFunded does not have a publicly disclosed scaling plan. The data shows scaling_rules as null across all challenge types. Max allocation is listed at $400,000 with max scaling up to $1,000,000, but there's no clear roadmap for how traders get from $100K to $1M.
This matters. If you're looking to grow your account over time, you want to know the path. AtmosFunded says they review accounts every 3 months and may increase capital based on performance, but the details are vague.
For now, if a clear scaling ladder is important to you, this might be a gap. That said, the firm may update this in the future. Worth watching.
AtmosFunded offers an exclusive coupon code TRUSTED for 25% off all challenges. This is available through The Trusted Prop. The discount applies across all challenge types.
For example, the $5K 1-Step Standard normally costs $63. With the code, it's $43. The $50K 2-Step Standard drops from $329 to $239. That's real savings.
The best deal currently is the $25K 1-Step Standard at $139 (down from $185), offering the best balance of account size and entry cost with the highest discount.
Let me give you my honest take on what works.
Broker-backed infrastructure. This is genuine. AtmosFunded routes through Taurex, a regulated broker. That means better execution, real liquidity, and accountability. Most prop firms can't say this.
Multiple challenge models. Four different paths to funding gives traders real choice. Not everyone wants a two-phase marathon. The Instant Funding option for traders who just want to trade immediately is a smart addition.
Daily drawdown reset. The 5 PM EST reset is a genuinely trader-friendly feature. It gives you a fresh risk budget every day. That's not common.
Global payment options. UPI, PIX, Boleto, OXXO, GrabPay AtmosFunded went out of its way to support local payment methods across Asia and Latin America. That's respect for traders who don't have easy access to international payments.
Raw spreads. Near 0.0 pips on major pairs during good liquidity conditions. That's institutional-grade execution, not the inflated spreads some prop firms use to make hitting targets harder.
Rule clarity at point of sale. The 1% per-symbol risk limit needs to be on the challenge page, not buried in the FAQ. If traders are discovering rules at payout stage that they didn't see during the challenge, that's a transparency problem.
Consistency enforcement. If you offer a no-consistency-rule challenge, don't penalize traders for having one big day. The 1-Step Plus and Instant Funding accounts have consistency rules. That's fine. But the 1-Step Standard and 2-Step Standard shouldn't be subject to unstated consistency expectations.
Scaling plan. Make it public. Traders want to know how they grow from $100K to $1M. A clear scaling plan builds trust.
Support consistency. Some traders love the support. Others report incorrect information. This needs to be addressed with better training and documentation for support staff.
Good for: Traders who want broker-backed infrastructure, appreciate daily drawdown resets, need global payment options, want flexibility in challenge types, and are disciplined about following clear rules.
Less good for: Traders who use very high leverage (1:500+, not offered here), trade exclusively crypto or stocks (not currently covered), need a clear public scaling ladder, or prefer firms with years of track record (AtmosFunded launched in 2024).
AtmosFunded is not a scam. The payout evidence is real multiple traders report successful withdrawals. The broker-backed infrastructure is a genuine differentiator. The challenge options are flexible and priced competitively.
But the firm has issues. The rule disclosure at point of sale needs improvement. The negative review pattern around payout denials for alleged rule violations is concerning, even if the firm has a consistent defense. And the missing scaling plan is a gap for growth-oriented traders.
AtmosFunded scores an 8.5 on The Trusted Prop. That's solid. Not the highest in the industry, but respectable for a firm that's been operating for about two years.
If you're considering AtmosFunded, here's my advice: read the full rules on their website before buying. Not just the challenge page. The FAQ too. Know the 1% per-symbol risk limit. Know the consistency rules on the Plus and Instant accounts. Go in with eyes open, trade within the rules, and you have a real chance of getting paid.
Use the code TRUSTED for 25% off if you decide to go ahead.
Risk reminder: Trading challenges involve risk. Most traders do not pass evaluations. Always read the firm's latest rules before buying. Past performance by other traders does not guarantee your results.
