Spreads and News Trading Rules

Spreads:

Hydra Funding offers competitive spreads across all its instruments. With spreads starting as low as 0.0 pips, traders can enjoy trading on raw spreads provided by Hydra's liquidity partners. Whether you’re trading forex, indices, or crypto, the platform ensures tight spreads to maximize profitability.

News Trading Rules:

Trading during major news events is strictly prohibited. Traders are not allowed to place trades within three minutes before or after a news event. Hydra Funding retains the discretion to remove trades, reduce leverage, or breach accounts that violate this rule.

Other Important Rules

Daily Drawdown Calculation:

Daily Drawdown is calculated based on Balanced-Based Drawdown. The drawdown resets at 5 PM EST each day, unlike equity based drawdown, every time the account balance increases, The daily loss limit increases based on the new balance and does not decreases as the trader closes a losing trade.

Countries Banned from Purchasing:

Gambling Rules:

Hydra Funding strictly prohibits trading strategies that resemble gambling. Consistent risk management and trading based on sound strategies are expected from all traders.

Prohibited Trading Strategies:

Hydra Funding prohibits several strategies to maintain market integrity:

  • Exploiting platform errors or latency
  • Using insider information
  • Front-running trades
  • Arbitrage between accounts

Any trader found engaging in prohibited activities will have their account terminated and forfeit any fees paid to Hydra Funding.
