Our Review of FundedElite Challenges

FundedElite has done a great job building a challenge model that suits different types of traders from complete beginners to advanced, from budget-limited to capital-heavy.
If you want a low cost entry, the Lite 2 Step or Lite 1 Step models are the way to go. For a more traditional route with greater capital, the 1 Step and 2 Step evaluations offer structure with generous payout splits. And if you are done with evaluations entirely? The Instant Challenge gets you funded right out of the gate.
The risk rules are clear, the fee refunds are fair, and the payout system is consistent. You are not bogged down by unnecessary restrictions like no news trading or strict timing limits. All you need to do is trade well and manage your risk.
In a market full of overcomplicated challenges, FundedElite keeps things simple, trader friendly, and scalable.

FundedElite Scaling Plan: How Your Account Grows Over Time

At FundedElite, the scaling plan is built to reward traders who stay consistent and follow the rules. It is not just about getting funded once your account has the potential to grow with you step by step as you prove yourself.

Here is how FundedElite Scaling Plan works:

Initial Funded Stage

When you first get funded, you start with an account balance you choose (like $100,000).

  • Profit Split: You keep 80% of your profits.
  • Payouts: Your first withdrawal is available after 21 days, then every two weeks.
  • Drawdown: Your max loss limit is set right at the start (for example, 10% of your initial balance).

Balance Increase Stage

If you keep trading well, your funding grows.

  • How it works: Every time you complete 3 successful payouts, your balance goes up by 10%.
  • Example: If you started with $100,000, after 3 payouts it becomes $110,000 after 6 payouts, it moves to $121,000.
  • Drawdown Increase: Along with each balance increase, your maximum drawdown rises by 1%, up to a limit. So over time, you have a bigger cushion to work with.

Enhanced Profit Split Stage

  • Condition: After 5 successful payouts.
  • Reward: Your profit split jumps to 90%, letting you keep more of what you earn.

Increased Payout Frequency Stage

  • Condition: After 7 successful payouts.
  • Reward: Instead of biweekly payouts, you can withdraw profits every week.

Key Points to Remember

  • Scaling only starts once you’re funded, not during evaluation.
  • You must maintain good performance and follow the rules to unlock each stage.
  • There is a cap on how much your drawdown can increase, to help manage risk.
  • As your account grows, your drawdown and payouts adjust so you can trade larger positions safely.

In simple terms: the more consistently you perform, the more your funding grows. You get higher balances, more frequent payouts, and a better profit split all designed to keep you motivated and rewarded as you scale up.

Spreads & Commissions at FundedElite

At FundedElite, trading conditions are built with the trader in mind. You will get access to ultra low spreads, starting from just 0.01 on major forex pairs, which means tighter entries and more profit potential.
Even better? There are zero commissions on indices and crypto, giving you more room to focus on strategy, not costs.
Whether you are trading Forex, metals, indices, or crypto, the environment is designed to stay stable, even during news events or high volatility. That means no slippage, no surprises just smooth, reliable execution when it matters most.

In short: low spreads, no hidden fees, and stable pricing make FundedElite a great place to trade with confidence.

How Drawdown Works at FundedElite

Drawdown is one of the most important things to understand if you want to stay funded and avoid getting disqualified. At FundedElite, there are two types of drawdown every trader needs to know and manage carefully:

  • Daily Drawdown
  • Total Drawdown.

What is the Daily Drawdown?

This is the maximum loss you are allowed to take in a single day. It resets every day and is calculated dynamically based on your performance. For example, if you are in a 2 Step Challenge with a 5% daily limit and your starting balance is $100,000, you cannot lose more than $5,000 in one day. If you do, the account is breached.

Let us say you make $3,000 profit during the day, your daily drawdown buffer increases to $8,000 (because it is now calculated from $103,000). But if you hold those profits overnight, the next day’s 5% drawdown is calculated from your new balance, so your loss limit moves up accordingly.

Important: Profits earned during the day help increase your buffer for the same day, but the next day resets based on your highest equity at the end of the previous day.

What is the Total Drawdown?

This is your overall maximum loss limit for the challenge. It is fixed and calculated from your initial starting balance, not your current equity.
In a Two Step Challenge, the total drawdown is 8%. So, with a $100,000 starting balance, your account must not fall below $92,000 at any point during the challenge.
Even if you grow your account first and then draw it back down, that loss still counts against your total.

In Instant Challenges, the daily drawdown is based on intraday equity, and the total drawdown is trailing, which means it follows your equity up and locks in your high-water mark.

Our Reveiw on Drawdown at FundedElite

FundedElite’s drawdown system is fair, but strict. It rewards traders who can grow their account without taking on too much risk. The daily limit adjusts with your performance, and the total limit is fixed, keeping your trading disciplined. Always know your numbers, stay mindful of the limits, and you will stay in the game.

FundedElite Trading Rules (What is Allowed and What is Not)

When it comes to trading with FundedElite, the trading rules are clear, fair, and built to protect both traders and the platform. If you are planning to take on one of their challenges or trade a funded account, here is exactly what you are allowed to do and what could get your account shut down.

✅ What is Allowed at FundedElite

1. Expert Advisors (EAs):

You are free to use trading bots or tools that help with analysis, risk management, or execution just make sure they are built for your own strategy, not shady shortcuts.

2. Grid Trading:

Setting up multiple buy/sell orders around a price range is fine, as long as you are not using it to manipulate the market or avoid real risk.

3. Hedging (Same Account Only):

Yes, you can hedge trades within the same account. Just do not use this to create guaranteed profits or exploit instability.

4. Martingale:

Allowed if you are responsible. No over-leveraging, no “all-in” trades, and no shared EAs doing the work.

5. News Trading:

You can hold through news events great for swing traders but don’t use it for fast arbitrage or copying between accounts to pass a challenge.

6. Copy Trading (Your Own Accounts):

You can mirror trades between your own accounts, using your strategy. Copying others or using public signals is off-limits.

7. Weekend Holding:

You can hold trades over the weekend (from Friday to Monday), but you can’t open new trades during weekends.

❌ What’s Not Allowed at FundedElite

1. HFT & High-Frequency Scalping:

No opening tons of micro-trades in under 3 minutes to exploit demo servers. That is considered abusive and unfair.

2. One-Sided Betting (Funded Accounts Only):

Don’t risk more than half your daily drawdown on one trade. Example: If your daily loss limit is 5%, you can’t put more than 2.5% at risk in a single setup.

3. Tick Scalping:

No exploiting tiny price ticks to farm profits with fast trades.

4. Account Sharing & Management:

Only you can trade your account from your own IP address. No password sharing, no remote trading, and no outside managers.

5. Cross-Platform Hedging:

Don’t hedge trades across two firms to avoid loss. It is flagged as risk-free manipulation.

6. Latency Arbitrage:

No taking advantage of price delays between the broker and real market. This trick is strictly banned.

7. Challenge Passing Services:

No hiring third parties to pass your challenges. This is considered a major breach.

8. Server Spamming:

Flooding the system with hundreds or thousands of pending orders to overload servers is toxic behavior and it will get flagged.

9. Weekend Trading:

You are allowed to hold trades over the weekend, but you cannot place new trades on Saturday or Sunday.

10. IP Sharing Is Not Allowed

Your trading account is yours only. FundedElite does not allow any shared IP access not even from family or team members. The platform tracks:

  • Login and platform usage
  • Device and IP activity
  • Payment and identity verification

If you are caught trading from a shared IP or someone else accesses your account, your account will be closed immediately, and you may be permanently banned. No exceptions.

What Happens If You Break the Rules?

If you violate any of the rules above, here is what can happen:

  • You may be removed from the Live Program
  • All accounts could be closed
  • Any profits earned may be forfeited

Our Review of FundedElite’s Trading Rules

FundedElite gives traders plenty of flexibility EAs, hedging, grid, martingale, and weekend holding are all allowed. But they take rule-breaking seriously. High-frequency scalping, latency arbitrage, account sharing, or using passing services will get you banned fast.
Their rules are built to protect legit traders, not punish them. If you trade responsibly and stick to the risk limits, you will have no issues. Just don’t try to cheat the system they are watching.

Payment Options & Payout Process at FundedElite

Paying for Your Challenge

Getting started with FundedElite is pretty straightforward. You can pay using all major payment methods just head to the checkout page and pick what suits you best. But here is something important: for security reasons, always use a credit card that is in your own name. It keeps the transaction clean, avoids verification issues, and protects both you and the platform.
And yes, there is a fee to join any FundedElite challenge. But it is not just a charge for the sake of it it serves two real purposes:

  • It motivates traders to treat the account seriously (as if it were their own capital).
  • It helps cover the technology and tools you use to manage and track your progress.
  • Think of it this way: it is a small price compared to the size of the account you are aiming to manage.

Refund Policy: Can You Get Your Fee Back?

It depends on how you perform:

  • If you pass on your first attempt, your challenge fee gets refunded on your third payout.
  • If you used the Second Chance (free retry) feature, the refund does not apply. This is because you have already had an extended opportunity to prove your trading skills.

Also, because FundedElite gives you access to the evaluation platform right after payment, all sales are final once you receive your login details. But if no trades have been made yet and you reach out early, the support team may help with exceptions. Just contact live chat to check your options.

Payouts: Fast, Flexible, and Fair

Once you are funded and eligible for payouts (after your first 21 days), FundedElite starts processing your reward. The first payout usually lands within 24 to 72 hours, and after that, you move to bi-weekly payouts.
All payouts are handled through Rise a reliable payout partner that offers multiple options, from bank transfers to crypto.

FundedElite is not trying to be just another prop firm it is building something that actually feels trader first. And that shows up in the way they have structured everything from the low cost Lite challenges to the high-reward scaling plan. Whether you are just starting out with $19 or gunning for a $300K account with a 95% profit split, they have created a clear, fair path that actually respects your skill.
They have no confusing trading rules, no surprise fees, and no schemes. Instead, you get a simple setup: clear drawdowns, fast payouts through Rise, multiple trading platforms (MT5 and TradeLocker), and access to a wide variety of assets Forex, indices, metals, crypto, and more.
Do FundedElite have limitations? Sure. You cannot use MT4, leverage is capped at 1:30, and rule breakers don’t get second chances. But that is a small trade off for a firm that is transparent, scalable, and genuinely rewards consistency.
