  • $25,000 account: $159
  • $50,000 account: $279

Spreads and News Trading Rules

Spreads

News Trading Rules

Traders at Funded Global had two options when it came to news trading:

  1. With Add-On Purchase: Traders could buy an add-on that enabled unrestricted trading during news events, applicable across all challenge stages and live accounts.
  2. Without Add-On: Without the add-on, there were restrictions. Trading was prohibited 2 minutes before and after high-impact news (marked with a red folder). This restriction applied across all challenge phases, and any breach was considered a serious violation.

Other Important Rules

Daily Drawdown Calculation:

Daily Drawdown was calculated based on equity based drawdown. Meaning the drawdown limit could increase or decrease based on the performance of the account balance. if there was no pending position then the drawdown limit will be recalculated at the end of the day based on the account size.

Prohibited Trading Strategies

Funded Global placed a strong emphasis on maintaining a level playing field and realistic trading conditions. They prohibited several strategies to avoid exploitation of their systems:

  • High-Frequency Trading (HFT) EAs
  • EAs that abuse market feeds
  • Multiple identical EAs/algorithms used by different traders
  • Arbitrage trading, including latency, reverse, and hedge arbitrage
  • Tick scalping
  • Demo account management services
  • Simultaneous opposing positions on different accounts

Payout Methods

Funded Global offered two main payout methods:

  1. Bank Transfer
  2. Cryptocurrencies: Traders could opt to withdraw their funds using ETH or USDC via the ERC20 network.

Trading Commissions

Funded Global offered $0 trading commissions across all the instruments they provided.

IP Rules and VPN Usage

Funded Global allowed the use of VPS and VPNs, which gave traders added flexibility in accessing their accounts securely from anywhere. However, they had strict IP monitoring to prevent multiple traders from using the same account. If any suspicious activity was detected, such as multiple logins from the same IP address, the account could be blocked.
