News Trading Rules

Trading around news is something ETX Funding does not appreciate as it does not show any skills or strategies of a trader. Therefore traders are allowed to open or closed positions within 5 minutes before and after a high-impact news event, resulting in a 10-minute trading window where activity is restricted.

Consequences: If a trader does not comply with the rule the positions will be automatically closed and it will counted as a soft breach. For Swing Traders if they open any trade between this 10 minutes window will not be counted in their gains.

Other Important Rules

Countries Banned from Purchasing

ETX Funding does not provide their services to a few countries which are Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Syria, Pakistan, Sudan, Somalia, Lebanon, Libya and Vietnam.

Forbidden Strategies

Several strategies are not allowed during both the Evaluation and Funded Phases, including:

• High Leverage and Risky Strategies
• Copying Trades from other Traders
• Using Market Purchased EAs
• Latency Arbitrage
• News Scalping
• Reverse Hedging Between Different Accounts
• Using Account Management Services for Passing Account

Payout Methods

ETX Funding has given traders to choose between two payout methods:

• Riseworks: Withdraw directly to your bank account or Crypto Wallet.
• Direct Cryptocurrencies: Withdraw directly to the crypto Wallet.
