Sway Markets, a well-known broker and prop firm, has announced that it will stop operations on February 7 at 5 PM EST. This news has raised concerns among traders about the impact on their accounts. In this article, we’ll break down what this means for Sway Markets, its users, and the trading community.
Let's Talk about Sway Markets First :-
Sway Markets is a broker that has been operating for over three years and began offering prop firm services on March 22, 2024, under the name Sway Funded. During its operation, Sway Funded has achieved significant milestones, such as acquiring Karma Prop Trader, My Flash Funding, ETX Funding, and GlowNode. Regarding legal details, Sway Markets is officially registered as Sway Markets Pty Ltd with the registration number 001300469.
Reason Behind Ceasing its Operations :-
Although the reason has not been publicly mentioned by Sway Markets but we speculate that it has been acquired by Liquid Brokers, a newly launched brokerage. This assumption is based on the fact that Sway Funded's services remain unaffected, while brokerage services for existing users will now be handled by Liquid Brokers.

Impact on Sway Funded and Its Users
Will Sway Funded Close?
No, Sway Funded will continue to operate as usual.
What About Sway Charts?
Sway Markets' in-house trading platform, Sway Charts, will continue to function. Users can still trade without issues.
Sway Markets has assured traders that they should not worry, as Sway Funded's services will continue for existing users. However, new traders will no longer be able to create challenge accounts.
Transition to Liquid Brokers
If you are a trader in the challenge phase with Sway Charts, you will need to transition your account to Liquid Charts once you pass. To do this, you must complete your challenge as usual and contact the support team to transfer your account. Your account will then be moved to Liquid Charts, the trading platform for Liquid Brokers. There is no official confirmation on whether trading conditions, such as spreads or commissions, will change under Liquid Brokers, but the transition is expected to be smooth.
Conclusion
Although Sway Markets is shutting down, Sway Funded and its traders will not be affected. Traders can continue using Sway Charts and smoothly transition to Liquid Brokers when needed. This event highlights the importance of staying informed in the fast-changing trading world.
